Page Plus Cellular is a prepaid Verizon Wireless mobile virtual network operator operated by TracFone Wireless, Inc.
The company was established in 1993 in the Toledo, Ohio area. In May 2013, Mexican telecommunications company América Móvil purchased Page Plus Cellular. At the time of sale, the company had 1.4 million subscribers. It provides CDMA cellular voice and data services nationwide on the Verizon network.
Technology and Coverage
Only Verizon Certified devices are allowed to activate. 4G devices will only operate with an official 4G LTE SIM, which can be purchased from the official website, as well as various other dealers. Devices advertised as “Flashed to work with Page Plus” are prohibited. Straight Talk/Tracfone devices may not work (Straight Talk CDMA-V are Verizon certified and as thus are allowed). Verizon Prepaid devices will work as long as it has met Verizon’s 6 month policy of being on the Verizon Prepaid network.
